This colt is the younger sibling of the previous colt I posted. Even though they are likely only a day or two apart in age, there is quite a difference in the fuzziness and size.
Canon 1 DX 600 mm
ISO 800 SS 1/2000 6.3
PP: ~80% FF, usual LR sliders then PS 5 and did levels and NR to BG. Nothing added or cloned. I left the little bug in the frame on the LHS because that is what he was running towards.
Comments and critiques always appreciated and learned from with thanks,
Gail
Super shot of a super cutie, Gail. Excellent detail, tones and colours and great POV. I like the raised leg and head tilted towards you. Nice framing and composition too. Nothing I can see to fix in this one. Nice work and thanks for sharing. BTW, I didn't notice the little insect on the left until reading your comments.
Hi Gail, seems like this month's theme is popular with the youngsters, and this little fuzzball really looks its got character. Even though is its full of fuzziness, the chick is nice and sharp where it counts. Those legs look too big for him, and he certainly does look fixated on the insect.
I'm trying to wonder how you captured this with regards to the slope - natural ? or something different as the grass is also sloping.
