After a light rain, the sun came out very briefly. We were onto this OC at just the right moment.
The rocks and moss and flowers in Iceland make for killer perches and backdrops.

So pretty and nice Gail. IQ is excellent. That beautiful light is great and makes the bird jump off the screen. All set off against that beautiful Iceland landscape with those out of focus flowers and green meadows. Eye contact is perfect. I know the near foot is not showing but all the rest more than makes up for that.

Gail, I can't disagree with anything said by Isaac, Will and Bill. Lovely shot with the bonus of droplets on the bird's back to add a nice touch. Nothing to add on your processing which is first class. Great work.

Absolutely gorgeous Gail, my only suggestion would be to lower luminosity and possibly saturation on the bill slightly otherwise just about perfectomondo for me.

Love the rain drops on the back. Also, the raised foot and all those terrific colors. We sure struck gold there! not a bit of blur at 1/200, steady hands! nice work my friend.

Hi Gail, killer light and IQ, and just love the droplets on his back. I do like the pose, HA, and overall, well exposed and sharp. Yes, the colourful moss rounds the image off nicely. Well captured.

Wonderful capture, Gail. Nice and crisp, sharp and love the beads of water on his back. Beautiful moss coverd rock perch.
