A giraffe drinking from a puddle while the oxpeckers struggle to hang on to the neck. The pose & funny face with the water running off really made me smile.

Hi Sanjeev - A fun image. I like the quirky pose of the giraffe and the water trail from its drink. The oxpeckers seem a little lost against the giraffe. If it were mine I would reduce the reds, especially in the dirt in the bg.

    Rachel

Hi Sanjeev well this is extra ordinary timed .... very difficult specially when the giraffe is not parallel to the camera .
Love the frame , just wish you had the BG not that cluttered , but nothing you could do about .
    Nice one , TFS Andreas

Hi Sanjeev, not perhaps the most flattering of poses, but still a good one to have and unique, I've not seen anything like this posted before.

This to me is a youngster, not an adult??? If you had upped the ISO to 1600 the SS and capture would have been better, it's predicting what's going to happen & be ready.

    Hello Sanjeev,

Good timing and a fun pose indeed! I have a few similar images taken in the Kalahari, not sure why I wasn't tempted to process them...
Could you perhaps check where is the FP, head looks a tad soft but maybe a tad more sharpening will do the trick, wondering if it's the SS or you were a bit off target, it happened to me

Thank you for this, it did put a smile on my face and I really like the variety of species you have been sharing lately. Err... what's next?

    Kind regards,
    Gabriela Plesea
