Hi Gio, I quite like the shot and even the overall colour, it has a nice feel to it, I'm just surprised that you shot at f/2.8 why, what was your thinking in the choice of aperture.

Nice interaction between the lions. I like the color image more than the black and white.

Hi Gio - I prefer the color to the b&w. Watch the halo around the lioness. I think even stopped down a bit more, the lion in the bg would still be out of focus.

I appreciate the time of day may have dictated colours but to me it looks too yellow or orange. I would be tempted to lift the shadows a little.

    Hello Gio,

Beautiful moment captured, love the tenderness between male and female, and especially the onlooker -he seems a bit envious:)

Cannot understand your thinking behind the techs though: why go so low, to ISO 125? Why not 250, to gain more SS and play it safe?

I do love the colours and warmth and the composition is great. If this was mine I would remove those few bare branches on the RHS at the very top of the image, but not the OOF ones below.

Nice work Gio, keep them coming please, IMO this is one of your loveliest images posted lately and the content is great

    Kind regards,
    Gabriela Plesea
