Northern Rough-winged Swallow on a small mound of dirt next to its burrow. Image made in overcast morning light. Image adjustments in Lightroom. Hand held, cropped for composition.
I like the look of this shot. Pose is very nice as is the direct stare and head turn. Color palette works very well. I would clone out the green area on the top left. Would also be tempted to clone out the large black rock? in the foreground. Or you could crop a bit tighter and start just above where that rock ends as I don't think that area adds anything to your shot. The birds seems to have a rosy cast to it. Was that from the light or processing? I have seen thousands of these birds so am very familiar with them and have never seen one with a rosy wash. I would also burn or clone out the bright white area just to the left of the bird.
