Please help ID; Song Sparrow?

Seen yesterday at Occoquan Wildlife Refuge just south of Washington DC.
Looking through my Pocket Birds - Eastern Region, it seems to be a Song Sparrow. But I couldn't say for sure.

That looks more like a female redwing blackbird. I cant tell the size in the pic but a song sparrow is smaller than the rwbb and quite a bit lighter in color.

Well, that makes perfect sense, as this male Red-Winged Blackbird was in the area as well!

And looking back in the book, I can also see the resemblance.
Needless to say, I'm just starting out ;)
