Nice and sharp Joe. I like the stare, lovely details and you have a great background. TFS.

Nice detail on the bird, good background. A little too tight in the frame for me.

Lovely frame Joe, great details through out. Are these Owls tamed that you can get close to them?

Hi Ray, thank you for viewing and commenting. Yes, that tame. For some reason unknown to me they choose vacant lots between houses for most of the burrows. The people who watch over and protect the owls have put up ropes around the burrows, staying outside of the ropes most times you can approach to 15 to 20 feet. If too close the owls bob their heads up and down and chirp a nervous cry. Slow and easy sitting on the ground inching forward and they become comfortable and tolerant accepting that you are not a threat.

Put a big smile on my face Joe, remembering time spent with these wonderful birds. Their personalities are huge in such a small package, only measuring in hight about the vertical length of this frame. Like the light, detail, and of course his or her expression.

Joseph, given the light conditions, there was that shadow on the eyes. Other than that you nailed the shot. Loi
