    I was able to lure this guy close with a wireless speaker.
    shot from a tripod with a lenshide blind . I should have lowered my iso and shutterspeed for a little less noise as he would sit pretty still , but I didnt think of that until I got home.
    Converted in DPP and neat noise reduction applied to the background in photoshop.
    1DIV ,400 f5.6 + ex1.4 III
    1/2500 , f10
    iso 1600

    It looks good to me Stuart. I like the composition and the perch with the yellow buds adding to the image.

    Good perch with a nice composition, really like the contrast between the yellow flower buds and green background.

    Stuart nice shot, love the colors, BG, details and perch, would like to see a bit more room in front and a tad more room on the bottom.

    love the pose and the BG colors, well done. wish the light was a touch softer but it isn't bad

    Great pose, terrific perch and background. I've found these birds very difficult to expose properly, especially if the sun is a bit harsh. This one looks good to me.

    Nicely done, Stuart. Perfect pose on a beautiful perch. These birds are tough to capture in as great a pose as you've achieved. Good light and lovely BG.
