I had a trip to a Red Kite feeding station on Saturday, on the west coast of Scotland. Basically it is a bird table for wild Red Kites, where raw meat is placed on the table to attract the birds. I liked the flight pose this one gave me.

What a unique flight capture, William. Great wing positions and fanned tail. Well done.

Such an interesting pose. Great details on the bird. I like the crop very much. I do think the band in the background below the birds head is a bit distracting. There are lots of small, distracting looking grasses. I think I would try and de-emphasize that area. Perhaps would darken the background or lower the contrast of the whole background so it does not take away from such a cool bird. In the past I have also selected the background, opened Viveza and lowered the structure and contrast just a little. Lots of ways to do that of course, just stating a few. Many would not care about what I am saying at all as the rest of the pic is so cool.

Wow Will, extraordinary pose and IQ is tops, Id agree, if you wanted to smooth out the FG, that would make this even better!!!

Wonderful shot Will. I love the action pose, feather detail and placement in the frame.

Looks better to me. Bird really stands out well with less emphasis on the background. Very nice shot.

Yes I do like the repost better too. The colors and details look great but I do wish for some eye contact. Well captured William
