    Single specimens always appear a bit lonely but I was attracted by the bright orange and the small size of this mushroom - less than an inch tall.

    EOS 5, Canon 100mm macro, ISO 50, Flash x2 (Dark rainforest) F22, Tripod.

    Amazing colors I like the crop and would only suggest darkening the UR corner a bit, will funnel the eye more to the center !!! Excellent !!!

    Hi John,
    It looks so elegant against the BG. Do agree with Alfred about the highlighted leaves in the UR...........but a slight tone down will make it perfect!

    You really have a way with these mushrooms! Great DOF on this one...love how you don't overexpose that top cap. I had the darndest time not getting hot spots on the ones I shot this weekend.

    I really like the details and the colors as is. The IR looks fine to me, but I am on a PC so maybe its a Mac thing?
