    Hi all,

We've had an overcast couple days here in NJ and I was getting some serious cabin fever so I headed out to a local wildlife preserve. About 3 minutes after I got there it started to rain -- go figure. I was able to get a couple frames of this robin on the ground and figured I would post it despite it being not the most exciting bird. In post, I did some slight levels adjustments, warmed the image a bit and tried to add some color back in due to the high ISO while also toning down the blues. In photoshop I did noise reduction on the background and sharpened the bird. This is full frame. If I were to shoot this again I think I would drop the SS and f stop to get ISO down to ~3200 or so.

    Camera: Nikon D500
    Lens: 200-500mm f/5.6 at 500mm
    Specs: 1/800 ISO 5000 f/7.1

    Thanks for looking!

Nice head angle I think you could get away with a tighter crop well done
