Is Fluidmask 3 a good way to go regarding masking a background without loosing fine subject detail?
Is Fluidmask 3 a good way to go regarding masking a background without loosing fine subject detail?
I have never heard of them before but after looking at their sight it is pretty impressive but might be over kill considering how good PS is at masking using different techniques. Do you have a sample of a image you need to mask the BG on.

Nothing specific. I'm just looking for an easier way to mask backgrounds that are complicated, like behind trees, or a bird like a snowy egret in plumage.
Nothing specific. I'm just looking for an easier way to mask backgrounds that are complicated, like behind trees, or a bird like a snowy egret in plumage.
It doesn't look like it will work for my purposes. Although it clips out the subject easily enough, it doesn't retain the background on it's own layer.
