Love the pose and that excellent reflection. I do think the image is a bit on the dark side and also see some noise on the birds neck. Easy fixes for an otherwise very nice shot. I envy the shots you got of these waders. I saw so many of them in horrible light or while I was on a raised dike and they were 5 feet below in a canal. Didn't even pick the camera up for them.
Thanks Joe, Geoffrey and Isaac. Here's a repost with a bit more brightness and a bit less noise. Don't know if I went to far; it may have lost some of the juvenile smudginess and feather definition in this brighter version.
Personally I prefer the original mainly because that's the quality of light we had. Nice NR in the repost.
