Effective composition in wildlife photography is often as much about what you EXCLUDE as it is about what you INCLUDE in the frame.
This little elephant calf was not really as isolated as he seems here (they rarely are, family members keep a close eye on these young ones), yet it was nice to be able to photographically isolate him from his herd in contrast to the multitudes of springbok that were around the waterhole.
