This is the bird we fondly call Lady Kestrel. This one is from last year. She just showed up about a week ago for the fourth year in a row. We are glad to have her back as she is one of the finest looking female Kestrels you could ask to shoot.

Thanks as always for looking and for your input. Appreciate it.

It is a beautiful BIF image with good focus on the clear eye and very nice bokeh. Great shot.

Great shot Dave, nice and sharp, nice BG, HA and catchlight. That truck blind really works fantastic.

She performs well for you, another wall hanger in acrylic would be spectacular.

Hi Dave, well..... you just keep turning these out, time and time again. Very well timed what looks like a take off shot. I like the eye contact, tack sharp where it counts, and I do like the colours on the Kestrel. Also, the BG colours compliment the Kestrel nicely. Well captured.

Cracking capture Dave. Light, detail, pose all top shelf. I particularly like the soft edges to the wingtips together with the sharp head and eye. Congrats!

Beautful bird and shot. Is she taking off or possibly playing around with a decoy?

    Thanks Joe and Jim.

Joe, this is a take off shot. I have never tried a decoy but I have often though about it. Maybe I will give it try sometime.

    Thanks again
