The Eagle nest I have been following for years disintegrated at the end of last season. I can't express how happy so many of us are that the Eagles have decided to rebuild at the same location. The rebuild started about three weeks ago and the nest is now nearly complete.

First of all congrats on having your eagles return. I know that if either of my two nests ever went down I'd be very anxious to see if they rebuilt. Actually both of the nests I watch have had almost half the nest lost in the past winters but so far eagles have rebuilt each time.

As per the image, the pose is nice, light is a little harsh resulting in some dark shadows under wing. Head angle is nice and background is pleasing. I think focus may be on the near wing as the head just doesn't appear critically sharp.

Good luck with the upcoming nesting season. Ours up here run on a totally different time table (Mar-Oct) compared to you down in Fl.

Very nice Robert. I like the fact that he is carrying nesting material. Nice to have an almost eye level view coming towards you.
You have exposed the whites perfectly.
I wonder if you can pull up the shadows on the feet?
If this was mine I would tone down the bright area above the back.
