I thought that I would post a "head shot" for you guys to give me your opinion on as I take quite a few head shots

This is a 14% crop of the full image

Nikon DX D7200 + Nikon 300mm f4 PF VR, (which is quite an inexpensive and handy walk about combo)

ISO 450 - f8 and 1/640 sec - +1/3EV

processed in LR - blacks pushed a little

Wilderness S Africa - Reed beds

Bill, good details and BG, a little to much room on top IMO but still very nice.
