Excellent comments above. A bit more head turn towards you would have improved and already strong image. The bird is a bit raggedy...

Hi Artie, I do not know what the prey item is, will have to work on identifying it. Regarding the bird being a bit raggedy... Is it just the bird or my processing?

A bit better head angle, and the fish being the other way around would have made this even better, but I love the details and composition. I'm liking the bit of reddish wing bend in the lower right corner.
