    Default Indian Pitta

A shy bird that remains hidden in the undergrowth where they hop and pick insects on the forest floor.
After numerous attempts finally got him on a clear perch.

Processed using Photoshop CS4. Removed noise from the background.
    Hope you like it.

Neat bird! The vertical composition fits the pose well. Sharp as posted, but hard to judge at such small posting (for verticals you can post up to 1000 pixels tall). I like the clean BG but I think it is too saturated - reducing the yellows in there would tame it for an easier viewing experience and put full attention on the subject. Perhaps a greenish cast overall, no doubt due to the heavy foliage this fella was in.

The BG looks very funny as if you tried to burn it or something? there is a strong halo around the bird. Dan's right the image is too small for critique
