Taken on a dull gray day and the BG is the ocean and sky.
I cloned out the top of a puffin head at the bottom of the frame.
Crop to 80%FF. I love the 2 puffins in the corner but could easily clone them out. What do you think?
Comments and critiques always appreciated and learned from with thanks.

Oh Gail! Love it. I wouldn't change a thing. I think the two at the bottom just make the image perfect. The incoming puffin is looking at those two. The dull day has worked a treat.

Nice incoming shot, and with a mouthful of fish as a bonus. I'd leave the onlookers in. Could qualify for this month's theme.

Leave them in! Good incoming pose with that bill full of fish. Good techs and processing.

Definitely leave the peanut gallery in there, they make the image more interesting. The pose and wing position look great and the classic mouthful of fish is well seen and detailed. Very nice Gail

Pretty cool Gail. The HA's and the pose on the birds are priceless. Lovely detail and control on blacks/whites. Well done.

I'm off to try them tomorrow

Absolutely leave them in....no question. The onlooking puffins add so much interest and tell much more of a story for the image. Love the feathers on the incoming bird and that mouthful is a huge plus.

Super image, the two onlookers make it. You have made the most of the dull light, something we contend with most days. Well done with this image, glad you enjoyed your visit to Iceland

Hi Gail, love the pose of the incoming Puffin, and especially that he's looking at the two in the LLC - so definitely leave the observers in. Im fine with your overcast BG, it makes the colours on the Puffins pop. Well captured.
