I cropped in a bit to showcase the action.
The trout won, narrowly escaping the Double-crested Cormorant and the White Pelican.

    Thanks for looking.

One of my favorite action shots of yours Tim. It's loaded with drama and intensity! I love the flying water and the fact that we can see the eyes on all three participants. Great detail for a shot like this. Well done

I am going with the pelican for the win, looks like it was close though! Great action capture!

Tim it's amazing that you got so much detail with all that flying water, like this and put my money on the Pelican.

Fantastic shot, right place right time and ready! I would have bet a tenner on the pelican - glad I didn't.

Way cool! I love the intensity of the action. All three head angles are good, and I am especially impressed to see both of the pelican's eyes. Awesome stuff here.

Hi Tim, excellent action here with fight over the fish, I like how both bills are open, both attempting to catch the fish. The extended right wing of the Pelican just about covers the whole body of the Cormorant, showing just how large the Pelican is, compared to the Cormorant. Action well captured.
