Nice IQ, colors and pose, details and light, Jon. I really like the perch here too. Not bad from the car window. Well done.

Car as blind works a lot for me and yours is exceptional. Nice fine detail and the placement and perch are super

That's a cool bird and perch, I like the way the plane of focus extends toward the camera, top and centre.

Hi Jon, hard to think I was also shooting the same subject in the reeds some 5500 miles away .

Like the composition and almost neutral BKG colour, gives nice separation. Is this a large crop, the soft detail looks a bit contrasty with the black shadow elements and the eye looks/appears a to have a little more PP on it??

Thanks very much everyone, not a large crop Steve and yes I routinely tweak the eye but I quite liked it now you have me thinking maybe just a little bright

The brightness looks perfect on my calibrated 5K monitor. I love the Pose and the colors in this one. Great-looking details and I really like the perch and the background. Maybe a little off the top but otherwise a Great looking Frame. Good job shooting out of the car, I do a lot of it.
