Very nice Stuart. I like the colours and the pose on the the bird. Nice POV as well. The BG fits nicely. I would sharpen the bird a wee bit, and leave some more room at the bottom. Well done.

This is a species that I really want to photograph the next time I get to Florida. So far they have eluded me. You've done well for not being at an optimal sun angle. Bird is well exposed. I like the shooting angle and the surroundings. I think it sharp but could maybe use a bit more. That zoom really seems like a great value for the money. Also not sure what is up with the area starting at the bottom of the screen on the lower right side. Is a weird distorted greenish area bordered by sand and blue water. Maybe there is just a different depth of water or something but I find it a bit distracting.

Stuart all those puffed up feathers and the reared leg pose makes it for me ,also the waves in the bg add a nice movement, very nice indeed.
