Default incoming little owl on his favoured perch

A bit of WIP and practice shots with the 500mm f4 , no bait involved in this shot ,its the birds favoured post out of five that are situated on the edge of his territory .

Hi Dennis, lovely colors in the BG. Perch is a little big and I think your focus is more on the perch than the owl. Would like better wing position. I'm sure you can go back to the same spot. Loi

I am a sucker for owls. I agree with Loi about the focus. Exposure looks spot on and I love the BG.

If the weather hold out i shall be trying to improve on this shot ,the bird is always here .
The post is fixed and its one of five that the birds use ,its a good excuse for a new project ,find a nicer post and replace it (just for summer)..

Nicely exposed good colours but the owl is just a tad OOF, looking forward to seeing more.
