After a rainy day, I saw some clearing on the horizon an hour before sunset, that can mean some great light and color, so I decided to head to the Heron rookery for some silhouettes against the western sun painted clouds. The light did not disappoint, but the herons were slow, not a lot of flight shots, but I like this pair of one watching the sunset, while the other is working on the nest.
Beautiful color palette.
I would adjust your level/curves or shadow slider to completely blacken the bird on the right.
If not against your ethics I would clone out the twig between the legs of the heron on the right. It catches my eye.
