    Under the forest canopy in Tobago with difficult light but these birds brighten it up,mud on it's beak from what I suspect is nest tunnel excavation .

    Love the iridescence on the head and chest feathers. Nice pose with the perch forming a diagonal. The nice clean background helps the bird to stand out. The mud on the beak shows that it doesn't just sit around all day. We don't see many of these in Norfolk!! TFS.

    Beautiful bird...look at those tiny claws! Vertical was the way to go. I love the dirt on the bill - not too little amount and not too much either. Good background, and I like the "proud" pose. I see some masking issues along the bottom of the perch and around the tail, and parts of the BG could use some noise reduction.

    Thanks folks,David if you get one in Norfolk you will be trampled with birders.Dan I did select the parts you mentioned to apply a little NR, but will try a little more.
