    I was capturing images of this Great Blue Heron at Lake Morton when he turned around. I began to delete the image but then saw potential for an abstract view not often captured. I am interested in your thoughts and views. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

    Im glad you didn't delete this Joe, I really like it. It isn't often one can fetch such a detailed close up of what you captured so nicely here, rather more like the backside of the bird flying away. The detail is striking and I like pondering what the GBH is looking at and what they may be thinking! TFS

    An interesting GBH shot, and a bit whimsical as well. I like the little white hat on top and flip of the dark blue head feathers. Nice detail that could be enhanced as this image seems a bit flat, easily corrected if you were so inclined.
