    Bullfinch male
    My favourite pose- back on- head turn. Sometimes they oblige. Pool flooded out again so back to riding around in the car. Surprising how many folks you see doing the same thing.

    Crop from landscape.
    Neatimage.
    No extra sharpening

    A superb pose and a cracker for the pool. The eye looks sharp but the feathers around the chin and cheeks look a bit soft. The rest of the bird has some nice detail.

    Yes I tried to sharpen but theres not a lot there. caught it in "mid swallow" Shuttersped not enough.

    I like the look back pose, setting and composition wise I would take a little off the bottom but that is personal preference. Nice image John.

    Will do- its the old reflection problem again . I didn't want to chop it.

    Tried a bit of sharpeningb but nothing much there to play with
