I like the pose, and what a delicate little bird. sharp but the image has a green/yellow color cast. Perch could be a bit cleaner and I wish the BG wasn't as busy here.

Hi Arash
I did a check on the cheeks white patches and they were adjusted in Bibble pro.
Can you do me a repost with the cast removed so I can compare. I have trouble with reds and greens usually.
By the way, I could,nt change the perch as its not a set upm but a growing tree.
Thanks

Hi john, Great pose and colours on the bird. The whites look ok to me, but I would agree that there is a yellow/green cast over the whole image.

John, sure I'll remove it later for you to see. Your original has the same cast.
As for the perch you can always setup a more attractive one, or if there is branch where they like to sit more often you can grab your gardening tools to trim it a bit

Dan beat me to it, his version has eliminated the cast.

Thanks both.
To be honestb I can't see a great deal of difference but its obviously my eyes so I cant do a lot about that There is certainly less green in the BG , I can see that. Also I see now that the white in my signature is not white.
Thanks again.

PS Forgot to say- monitor was calibrated in October last year.

John I doubt your eyes cannot see the colors properly. I think if you wear glasses you will be ok.
you need to calibrate your monitor otherwise your colors will be off and look different to everyone else besides you. Then all the effort you put to prepare your images are wasted.

Hi Aresh
I have worn glasses for many years and they don,t affect colour. They are purely reading glasses.
I was classified as RG colour blind by the military many years back.
If it is my monitor and it needs re doing again, why don,t other peoples pics look wrong.? Confused
Cheers

Hi John,
Are the birds coming to a feeder or just hanging out in the yard? a

Hi Arthur
There is a feeder in front of the kitchen window. A hide anywhere in the garden will get something. The garden is full of trees and bushes, and is in a clearing in the middle of a 6000 acre forest. Any setup stuff I do through the window with perches or stumps or(props)etc arranged around feeders as most folks do.
Cheers

sorry to hear about your condition.
well if you can't really see the strong color cast above I am not sure if you can accuratly judge color in other photos either and tell if it's right or wrong. If you can tell the colors in other photographs you should be able to do so for your own photos, no? I am saying this because as Dan also mentioned almost all of your posts lately have had a strong cast
my name is not Aresh BTW
