I went to the rookery at Gatorland yesterday. The Great Egrets are there, some courting, others building nests, a couple sitting on eggs. The other birds will come later in the spring. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

A classic great egret pose, elegant, good breeding colors, the vignetted background makes him pop.
Was this shot as a vertical? If not, and you have a bit more space on the left, I could see a bit more room there.
Hi Randy, thanks for your suggestion. I do have room on the left, above is a edit with more room on the left.
Hi Ann, good eyes. I had originally left room then cropped tighter, this edit and repost reflects your suggested change. Thanks to Randy and you for helping to improve my image.

What a beautiful shot Joe
Has everything going for it. The inclusion of the surrounding vegetation enhances it a great deal too IMO
Thanks for showing this gem.

Hey Joe, Back again, i like the extra foot room! Also, after admiring your image, I really got a sense of how "circular" this image is: the fine feathers are all leaning CW amidst the circular encapsulated "spotlight" on the egret that was so natural in the greenery! wowsa !!!
Hi Joe, I really love the image as well as everyone else; you have captured the essence and the grace of this egret. I just visited your website; very impressive beautiful work.
