This was taken from my backyard last week. I was going out to the lake to see how thick the ice was and saw this guy in my neighbours tree. I went and got the camera out of the car and got a couple of images. Although the bird is flying away from me I was glad that it kept an eye on me. All C&Cs are welcome and appreciated.

good exposure and I like the BG, a tad soft to my eye. wish he wasn't flying away from us but the look back makes up for it

Nice work Jim, as the others have said, the look back makes all the difference.

The shooting angle is not the best but you had a nice head turn, Jim.

It made me look twice what was going on here...the body angled away, but a nice head turn and eye contact on you. Certainly an interesting image. TFS.

I like it, Jim. Flying away from you, yes, but that look back saves it , in my opinion. I like the cold winter feel. Any more detail in the face?

I know it's been well covered Jim but that look back pose is classic.
