    A shaft of early morning sunlight picks out the robin against a background in shadow. Could wish for a better perch.

    Canon 7D Mk2. Canon 100-400 L Mk2. Canon 1.4x Extender.

    1/1000 sec @ f 8. ISO 3200.

    Neat scene, very "backyardish". I like the dark surroundings and the sun hitting the subject. I imagine you blurred the BG a bit, which is fine, but your masking around the bird and perch has made their contours soft, some tweaking there would be worth it.

    David that looks great with the Robin and it's perch caught in that spotlight of light.

    Super keyhole effect here. Prefer a natural perch, but well seen and like that spotlight effect on the bird as well.
