    First time I have seen a diver with a crab, I had no idea they ate crabs. I am guessing it is a hermit crab. Colour balance modified in DPP to remove very strong blue cast.

    Beautiful shot, Jonathan. I really like the panoramic feel to this image. If you don't mind my asking, how did you get low for this shot? Did you have to go into the water? Sorry, I am just starting to shoot birds and I realize that I need to get wet to get most of the shots that I want.

    Adhika The shot was taken with the camera mounted ona tripod, the camera was about 30cm from ground level. So it was low but not that low - remember it was taken with 500mm &1.4TC

    Excellent work here Jonathan. when I get low these days I find getting up much more problematic:(
