    Default Theme: Northern Hawk Owl.

    My wife and I drove to the place where the Northern Hawk Owl was spending the winter and found the bird high in a tree.
    There was a guy whom we met first time and he said he would do some feeding if we don't mind.
    Then he casually reached into his pocket and pulled out a live mouse.
    I had the 500 on a tripod so I just watched.
    My wife then offered her camera and lens so I could give it a try.
    Due to my inexperience, I never got a flight shot, but I got this image.

    Nice image Karl. I like the sharpness, exposure and prey. Composition wise I would take some off the bottom but that is personal preference.
