    Dear Friends,

So many wonderful posts lately, I seem to spend more time viewing than doing any PP work:) Still felt like sharing something, so here's an image captured and processed in September 2013, to which I made a few changes the other night (a CCW rotation and a tad of sharpening).

    Nikon D3S
    Nikon 500mm F4
    ISO 320
    F5.6
    1/2000s

Hope to put a smile on your face...

    Kind regards,
    Gabriela Plesea

Hi Gabriela, this is great, some fun and the conversion works well. Yes, the techs if shot now, would undoubtedly be better and the PP too because of what you know, but this is about capturing a moment and the image speaks volumes.

    Well done.

Hi Gabriela - I think you should title it "Are you looking at me?" A very whimsical image and the conversion works well. I like the small in frame meerkat against what appears to be wide open space in the bg. Might clean up the upper left edge if it were mine - there's a feint dark area at the very edge.

    TFS,
    Rachel

    Hi Gabriela,

well done with capturing my fav animal out in the desert. need to stop by by them soon again.

The conversion is fine to me as well, even that I think B&W does not fit with such funny animals. But this is just me.

    Have a great evening

    Ciao Anette

Thank you so much dear ones,

This is a frame of many faults and I do feel like giving it a makeover, but it will have to wait till I get back from the promised land:) Glad you liked the idea and maybe worth giving it another try, unless I come back with something better.

"Whimsical" is a good way to describe it Rachel, and I agree with you Steve - I could do a better job with PP work now.

    Glad you're all smiling:)

Anette - I have a colour version but it does not convey this "desolate" feel of the "lonely sentinel", LOL. They are incredibly cute, aren't they? I too love them to bits...

Thank you so much for viewing and kind comments, I so appreciate it

    Warmest regards,
    Gabriela Plesea
