    According to Norwegian pro wildlife photographer Ole Jorgen Liodden and reviewer of this field test, perfectly usable images up to 51,200 ISO are certainly possible, heck.......even ISO 102,400 with good NR software are also a possibility, that is just amazing.

    I was happy to push my D4s to a high ISO of 12800, so even if Nikon can eek out another 1 to 1 1/2 stops would see me very happy indeed.

    It's still early days and time will tell, but cannot wait to take delivery of my D5 (and D500) some time in March.

    He's really into back-lit subjects. Great shots, but I've never seen such a preponderance of back lighting.
