The village is named after the bridge which spans the gorge of the River Severn. Constructed in 1781 it was the worlds first single span iron bridge. It was closed to traffic in 1934 and is now a pedestrian only crossing.

I'm drawn to the rather mystical scene through the bridge, and wonder about a crop from the left to get rid of most of the buildings. Also would have been tempted to pull the remnants of the dead plants in the FG, if possible to get to them.

    Hi David

Very nice composition and an interesting bridge. Nice lines leading to the view beyond the bridge. Good to hear they limit the traffic to foot. I dont mind the stalks, but i would work a little more on the buildings, they look a little flat. The colour of the building just left of the tree especially does not look right, or should i say 'white'...I am presuming it was..

I really like the scene and the comp.
I would revisit it when the leaves are on the bushes at the bottom.

Great composition the bridge and the church look very good to me, I think you captured a tranquil scene very well indeed.

Beautiful photos: The use of reflection never tires me. If I can nitpick, the big tree immediately on the left side of the bridge seems to detract from the image. Were it not there, I think my eyes would "flow into the picture" more smoothly.

And here we have a perfect example of the beauty of BPN....so many viewpoints, all good. Depends on what you meant to convey...the village? the work on the buildings as suggested. The bridge, then crop to that as suggested. This photo has lots of possibilities.
