    I like the habitat, the snow and the weeds. Good eye contact too but the owl is soft and noisy. It looks like the RAW was soft and strong sharpening accentuated the noise.

    Hi Tim, nice snowy shot! I like the composition. Noise jumped out at me first, particularly in the OOF vegetation. There seems to be a blue color cast on the bird and snow, nothing that WB can't fix. Was this a large crop?

    Like the image but has a few issues as discussed. I would guess atmospheric distortions caused the softness issues.. Composition is excellent!

    Stunning bird in nice natural surroundings, but the softness unfortunately takes away the impact the shot deserves.
