    Very dramatic! There is a bit of visual confusion with the sharper head merging with the more diffuse details of the wing, especially since both have the same coloration.

    Hi, Mitch, Nancy is right - very dramatic and I like it. I don't mind the cropped wing on the top but I think I'd like to see that one wing tip on the bottom if you've got it

    The background and the tight crop add lots to the drama. I really like this. If you don't have the rest of the wing tip Cheryl mentioned, there's a Plan B. Choose the darkest of the blue background and do a gradient from it to transparent just up a short way from the bottom on a new layer. It'll essentially cut off more of the wing tip, and you can mask the gradient off the branch.

    Mitch, this is a strong dramatic image. I like the post processing. The clean dark bg is a plus. To bad the right wing did not clear the head.

    It is very dramatic, full of action. I like it very much as-is. Wish I could get a closeup of one!
