Very lucky with this type of shot as the little owl is pretty predicable and 9 times out of ten will always come in from the same direction every time...Canon 1d mkiv 300mm f4 at 5.6 iso 800 +1 ev 1/1250 sec

Hi Dennis.

Nice timing & pose. I would pull the brightness of the BG down.. its competing with the bird too much, (and winning IMHO..). The head & eye maybe a touch too sharp also.. Great image though..

Nice landing pose but I would have preferred some more of the eye. The BG works for me.
