    Hi Gail,

Lots to love about that shot. Raised wings, fish in bill, two birds with nice HA and glint in eye, well exposed.

I would consider to do a bit of eye work. The near bird has a double glint in the eye. The far bird, just being on the edge of soft focus, could benefit by copying the sharper glint from the near bird's eye.

The eye of the fish seems great ;)

Simply beautiful Gail. Like the light, wings up after the fish delivery, and good handling of whites and blacks. Like the sand with scattered shells. BG is a great shade of blue.

Not so much my knees but my elbows Stuart. I always wear elbow pads and knee pads!

I like the low angle, offering, wing position, IQ, composition and setting. A beautiful image with perfect exposure Gail!

Super image in stunning light. Love photographing the mating behavior. Love how one has the wings up and the other is more submissive. Glad you left the beach as is.

Good behaviour, and I love the raised wings. The fish is rather neat with a bit of transparency to it - cool. A bit bummer though that a bright shell had to be right behind the legs, but not an deal breaker by any means.

Beautiful looking image Gail, and captured well. I like the colours throughout and the detail on the birds. Whites look good.

Hi Gail, perfect exposure and great poses captured. Love the visible snack.
I wish the white shell wasn't right behind the legs and that the birds were turned our way every so slightly. But that's nature for you ...

The details and the exposure look fantastic. The display, which looks like the prelude to copulation, is very nice and I like the low shooting angle. The fish looks great too. Well done Gail
