    A lovely image, Dan. Good low POV, nice light, exposure, bg. A bit of a melancholy feel to it, but I suppose that's just because of your previous posts of what I assume is the same bird.

    Your shooting angle is perfect - just high enough to see the foot and low enough to render a nice oof fg.
    Beautiful light, comp, size and details. Hope this bird made it.

    It's not everyday you see a grounded Murrelet. Super low angle, and good colours to the background. Perhaps a bit tight in the frame, and it looks like there may be a bit of CCW rotation needed (or the illusion of it). Details and exposure spot on. I love the clean sand too.
