Beautiful scene with a picture perfect reflection. A pleasing hue to the water too.

Wow! The first thing that grabbed my eye was that perfect reflection.
Nice head turn from Mama and the rear chick.
Only way to improve this image would be to have the middle chick looking our way.
    Nice one Karl!

Sweet image of this grebe family in very nice light quality. The namesake of the species really caught the light beautifully. Running a little selective NR on the water, particularly in the bg, is worth considering. It's interesting to see how round the eye of the adult grebe is in the reflection versus the bird itself...

Very cook Karl, the reflection is almost sharper than the bird. Nice colors and details to this family scene. Well done

Hi Karl, a strong image for the theme - and just love the two chicks on the back. Yep, gotta love that perfect reflection.

Bummer about the protective membrane partly covering the eye.
The sharpest point appears to be on the wings of the adult.
Lovely photo otherwise, don't mind the HA of the chick.
A lower POV would have been stronger too IMHO.
