    Snipe showing bendy beak. I can see now how they manage to get worms from elow ground ! -a rubber beak!

    Hi John, good head on capture with an even better head turn. Interesting shape to the bill, and comp wise, I would maybe come in from the left a bit.

    Yes, most long beaked shorebirds have this flexing beak. In testing pose, well done John.

    Yes its not a quality photo shot but at least I got the beak bit ,which is what I wanted.
