    This one floated so close that I turned down the iso and popped up the in camera flash.

    Dan:

    A really dramatic display of one of the most beautiful of birds during the "change"

    Excellent low POV, nice water, well exposed, flash work fairly subtle. Might consider cleaning up the flash catchlight, as the natural one is quite nice.

    He is listing a bit to starboard, and needs a bit of CW rotation.

    As evidenced here, molting birds can offer interesting opportunities with their varying plumages. Ditto Randy's critique.

    Agree about a touch of CW rotation.
    The image works very well for me. I like it.
    The nice touch is those beautiful delicate small white feathers on its breast.
    Great POV too mate.

    Hi Dan, brilliant low angle here, looks like you were in the water. Great HA, and although molting, most of the colours are showing up well enough. I would remove one of the small catchlights. Well captured.
