Another from my Norfolk trip many moons ago. I have cropped this a bit but I'm happy with the original.

Canon 20D Sigma 500f4.5 EX. Hand held whilst lying down on a bank by a coastal lagoon.

    ISO 200, f5.6, 1/2000 Sec.

    Cropped, levels and saturation applied.

I love the low angle but the issue with such a low angle is to my eyes the unpleasing OOF foreground. I would eliminate at least half of the foreground OOF area. Otherwise, great light, sharp, good catchlight and head angle is almost perfect.

I just love the water in this shot mate!
Nice pose on the bird, almost an ideal HA too.
    Really great details.
Nothing more to add for me.

Beautiful shot. I go back and forth on the OOF in front of subjects, just can't decide which way is right.

Hi Adrian, excellent low angle, and you have brought out the feather detail very well - nice and sharp too. I like the splash of gold in the water. Before reading the other comments, I too would crop away from the bottom.

Detail and exposure is excellent Adrian, different colours in the water take it up another level.
