My little garden is now jam packed. I love watching everything grow and thrive, such a delight. I used Fractalius (my own preset based on Glow), a texture from Bellefleur, poster edges, a gradient from the bottom, a png to add light to the TLC. The lines in the background reminded me of electricity and the power of growing things.

Elegant. The elements all work well together.

Jackie, you have created a very pleasing image. I particularly like the dark bottom to light top gradient, The graceful S shaped leaf, the soft subtle splashes of purple in the bg and the selective detail in the flower petals. I would add a bit more canvas at the top.

Very nicely created and a bit different with the subtle streaks of electricity. Love the gracefully swirling leaf around the stem that seems energized and brings your eye upwards to the light and the just opening blossom. I totally see the power of growing as you describe! I really like the purple shades in the bkgd echoing the purples of the blossom. Very dramatic with the selective lighting and the glow! Maybe a bit more at the top as Gary suggests.

Thanks for the comments, I gave it just a bit more breathing room at the top. I wasn't sure if there was enough room up there. I like it better.

I like the repost better also. I love the feeling of energy and the spiral of the leaf around the stem. Beautiful image, Jackie.
