Stuart very much like the colours on this and the interesting perch with all it's plants, bird looks good with that striking yellow tail, very nice piece of work.

    This is really nice Stuart.
    Great lookback pose.
i love the perch and the little plant to the left of the bird. The draping leaves mimic the lines of the bird quite well.
Nice diagonal line created by the perch.
Blacks look really good considering the challenging forest canopy and darkness.

Fantastic looking bird, Stuart. Very nice head turn, dorsal view, and great detail with exceptional light. Excellent plant covered perch.

Great pose, with look-back, tail extending in front of perch. Wonderful tropical feel to both perch and bg. And the colors of the bird are very nice, and well exposed. Good comp, with the longer leaves balancing the comp. I like it. (And I'm jealous, having tried unsuccessfully to get this bird on a number of trips.)

I agree! A very nice image of a striking bird. The composition takes advantage of the perch and the bird is nicely separated from the background.
