Created a little over a week ago (the day after Dan Cadieux's image). This fellow had just pull the stick from the on the back mud about 10 feet from me! He swam a short distance and then deposited it on top of his lodge. beneath the roots of a big Maple tree.
Canon 40D, Sigma 50-500mm @ 116mm, Bushhawk 320D Pro, ISO 640, F10, 1/250 sec. Cropped to about 50% of full frame.
He looks as busy as a ...well, you know. I like the way his eye looks, gives the viewer the idea of the effort required to pull that branch. The ripples in the water look funny to me (maybe oversharpened?). I'd be tempted to crop this with the beaver in the LLC with the branch pointing towards the URC.
