This coffee shop is in the Cabbagetown neighborhood of Toronto. Cabbagetown is being gentrified, but parts of it remain pretty grungy! Processed with the Edward Hopper filter in Topaz Impressions.

Love the colors. Great composition. I feel I'm standing in the coffeshop itself! The inclusion of people makes it real. Did you use a tripod? I think the image could use a slight Clockwise rotation.

Hi, Wendy, I like the use of Impressionism on the image and your composition. I agree with Anita on the rotation

Thanks, Anita and Cheryl. I did not use a tripod, although I may have been resting the camera on one of the counters in the coffee shop...I can't remember. After your posts, I went back and rotated it slightly, and it's a definite improvement. I also decided it was a bit oversharpened, so I reduced that. Not a big enough change to repost, but I like it better now.

Hi Wendy, this is really nice - I love the rich reds and browns. The painterly look gives it an antique look that fits well with the look of the interior. Well done!

Well done with a great perspective captured! Love those lines of the counter and the wooden floor taking your eye way back into the image. Excellent colors, textures and glow! The bald guy with his hand on his head looking at his computer is a great secondary focal point and really adds life & context to the scene. You could not have paid a model to do any better.
